Photo by Elizabeth Triano The 2012 Muscoot District Klondike Derby was held on Saturday, January 21, at Veterans Park in Carmel, New York. Troops from all over the Muscoot District came together to compete against one another and show off their Scouting skills in this special wintertime event. Katonah Troop 1 was once again in charge of the First Aid activity station. The other stations included Fire Building (Carmel Troop 1), Knot Tying (Troop 1 North Salem), Ice Rescue (Troop 271 Mahopac), and Shelter Building (Troop 440 Patterson). The entire Klondike Derby was organized by Carmel Troop 1 . Our troop had a very strong showing this year!
