Railroad Campout Saturday, February 28 Leave KES at 8:00am This weekend, Troop 1 Katonah will be "working on the railroad" in Thomaston, Connecticut. The Naugatuck Railroad will be our host for the day, as we tour their facilities and learn about railroading, history, and preservation. We will be staying at the comfortable Mohawk Cabin at Camp Mattatuck , operated by Connecticut Rivers Council , BSA. The cabin is equipped with 15 bunks and a wood stove, which will be most welcome after spending our day on the railroad. Throughout the day, we will also be working on some requirements for the Railroading merit badge. We will depart Katonah Elementary School at 8:00am, and arrive at Camp Mattatuck a little after 9:00am. We will drop off our gear and head over to Thomaston station, where our tour guides will meet us at 10:00am.
