We will be meeting at 6:00pm so that we can enjoy a cookout with the veterans and talk about citizenship and what it means to be a good citizen. Scouts should turn out in FULL UNIFORM. TROOP PLANT SALE I just received notice that the plants will be arriving on Tuesday afternoon so if anyone is around between 1 and 3 that day, please let me know.  We can use help unloading the truck.  I will give everyone a call who ordered plants once they are ready for pick up which will probably be by mid-morning on Wednesday....

Campout CANCELLED

Due to the expected downpours we are supposed to get this weekend, we have cancelled the campout. Scouts should plan on attending the Spring Camporee coming up May 4 though May 6. This is our last district event for the year, so attendance is very important. We encourage Scouts to attend for the entire event from Fiday afternoon to Sunday morning, as the Camporee is a team event. More details about the Camporee will be posted shortly.

Plant Sale and Reminders

Getting ready to start the meeting...   At Thursday's meeting I handed out the order forms for our spring plant sale. About 5 boys did not get theirs- they have names on them so I know who is missing one! Those 5 will be brought to the meeting on Thursday. Parents, please check with your sons to get the order form. They are also available on the website if yours is missing! You can call Mary Tschorn if you have any plant sale questions at 232-5420. She would like some volunteers to sell plants from our driveway on May 23. Let her know if you'd be able to help. We are still missing one tent- so have a look around in your garages, basements etc. for it. Bring it to the meeting when it's been located, please! The patrols are preparing for a campout this weekend, to be held at Pound Ridge Reservation. We will arrive on Saturday and be camping out overnight. This will help many of our Scouts get requirements they need for rank advancement, and good practice fo...
